After the Spring Concerts held in May, an amazing anticipation of the Festival, the Musical weeks of Stresa and Lake Maggiore come back to enjoy the sophisticated audience with the “Meditazioni in Musica” (Musical Meditations).

From 30th July to 7th August  2010, the most beautiful places of Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta host musical events of high level in which the best musicians, coming from all over the word, perform.

Dates to remember:on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st July Alban Gerhardt plays Suite per Violoncello Solo by J.S. Bach at the Eremo of Santa Caterina, a monastic dwelling of the 13th century; on Sunday 1st August the choir “La Colombina” sings Ad Vesperas at the Santa Maria Church in Belgirate. Music by Tomàs Luis de Victoria; on Tuesday 3rd August “Cappella della Pietà de Turchini” perform Mater Jesu at the Madonna di Campagna Church in Verbania; on Friday 6th August Enrico Pieranunzi plays the piano at the Rocca in Angera;on Saturday 7th August “Affetti Barocchi” at the San Nicolao Church, situated on the Sacro Monte of Orta.
